A little Sunday Lovin' | Thormanby Island | Sunshine Coast BC

Here is a little glimpse into a Sunday with me and the ones I love.

We honestly can't get enough of this beautiful place we call home.  I feel so fortunate that my partner grew up on the water and in the mountains - he is showing me what life is all about.  We're all about the simple joys.

Love,

Court

Hannah + Andrew | Painted Boat Resort Elopement | Sunshine Coast BC

Hey Friends + Faaaam!  First of all, thank you for being here with me!  I recently lost my pops this past February and it's been a whirlwind of emotions for me.  I feel like i'm riding a rollercoaster with a blind fold on.  Seriously, grief is an odd experience.  Such is life.  It goes up and it goes down when we least expect it.   ANYWAY, I'm going through last years elopements *ahem* you heard right LAST years elopements.  Catching up on blog posts and this particular one put me in the best mood.

HAHA! I've never laughed so hard with a bride before.  Hannah has the most BEAUTIFUL spirit and BEST smile.  This girl was just glowing with happiness and love.  If we could all channel even HALF of her energy into our every day lives...we'd be one super happy world!   For real though.

As always big love to Kori and her team at Coastal Weddings and Events for planning such a beautifully personalized celebration for these two!   Take a scroll to see how personal these two got.  It doesn't matter how big or how small your event is.  It can and will be everything you want it to be with the team of vendors the Sunshine Coast has to offer.  Working all together for the last 5 or so years has been such a fun experience.

Again, the biggest THANK YOU
Court

Jayme + Tyler booked with us exactly 1 year ago!  Since then, a lot has changed.  I remember chatting with Jayme and her family at the wedding fair and we talked about the importance of capturing ALL the moments on their wedding day.

How it was our mission to make sure everyone was documented, how my dad was a cancer survivor and I couldn't begin to tell them even just the littlest bit how I know how important it is to be present and honest with all our images we take.  How anticipating moments was our secret weapon that we've learnt over the last few years of documenting weddings.

Yesterday was a special day for me.  My partner Gary joined our session as well as Marissa, the other half of With a Wildheart.  I really wanted to make Jayme + Tyler's Sunshine Coast visit one to remember.

We spent the afternoon up the mountain taking photos, laughing and becoming new friends.  Gary had a bonfire blazing and hot dogs on the go, I mean we stopped mid session to have a corona and enjoy the view.  It was honestly the BEST day ever.   I can't wait to see what this year has in store.

I think Gary is going to be our official Wildheart tour guide and bonfire expert haha!
Thanks for being here with us,

Court
